Braxton County
Braxton County is located in central West Virginia. In fact, it is home to the geographical center of the state. The population in 2020 was 12,447 and the county seat is Sutton. It is home to Sutton Dam and Sutton Lake, a popular recreational site. Major industries include oil/gas and timber.
